The contact form and WhatsApp

The contact form lets visitors write to you from your website. Each message arrives in your email. Visitors never see your email address.

The form asks for a name, an email address and a message. Your assistant can change the words above the form and on its button. Ask it, for example: “Change the button of the contact form to: Ask for a quote.”

Messages go to the email address in “Edit”, “Contact”, “Email”.

  1. Write the address and press “Save”.
  2. Publish your website.
  3. Open “Online” and choose “Contact”. It says, for example, “Messages from your contact form go to hello@example.com.”

We send messages only to an address that you have confirmed. If the address is new, “Online”, under “Contact”, asks you to confirm it. For example: “To receive them at hello@example.com, confirm it first.”

  1. Press “Send the confirmation”.
  2. Open the email we send you and press the link. The link works for 24 hours.

Until you confirm it, messages go to the email address of your Tsurito account. No message is lost.

You confirm each address once. After that, it works for all your websites.

Free websiteWebsite with a subscription
Contact messages a month501,000, then a small extra for each further 1,000, or it stops if you prefer

A free website can also receive up to 10 messages an hour, and a website with a subscription up to 30. This protects you from floods of messages.

When a free website reaches its limit, the form takes no more messages until the next month, while the WhatsApp link keeps working. A website with a subscription carries on for a small extra, unless you chose to stop it at the limit. Read Limits and extras.

In “Edit”, “Plugins”, choose “Contact form” and tick or untick “Show the form on your contact page”. If your website has no contact page yet, ask your assistant to add one, and the form comes with it.

The form checks that the visitor is a person before it sends. Most visitors never notice the check.

A WhatsApp link beside your contact details opens a WhatsApp chat with you.

  1. Open “Edit” and choose “Plugins”.
  2. Choose “WhatsApp”, or “Add a plugin” and then “WhatsApp” if it is not there yet.
  3. Tick “Show the WhatsApp link” and write your number with its country code. For example: +34 600 000 000.
  4. Press “Save”.
  5. Publish your website.

To hide it, untick “Show the WhatsApp link” and publish.
