Install Tsurito and connect your AI

  • A computer. Today Tsurito runs on macOS 13 Ventura or later, on a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer); Macs with an Intel processor are not supported. Linux next, then Windows.
  • An internet connection.
  • An email address, or a Google or Apple account, to sign in to Tsurito.
  • A subscription to Claude or to ChatGPT. Claude Code comes with a Claude subscription and ChatGPT (Codex) with a ChatGPT one; their own pages, Claude’s and ChatGPT’s, say which plans include them.

Tsurito brings everything it needs to build your website. If your assistant is not on your computer yet, you install it from Tsurito. If you have only the Claude desktop app, install Claude Code too: Tsurito does not use the one inside that app.

  1. Download Tsurito from our download page.
  2. Open the file you downloaded.
  3. Drag Tsurito into your Applications folder.
  4. Open Tsurito from your Applications folder.

Tsurito shows three short screens, one after the other.

The first screen says “Your websites, wherever you are”. Sign in with your email, or with Google or Apple. Use the same email each time to find your websites. If your browser opens, finish signing in there, then come back to Tsurito.

Your Tsurito account is free. It keeps your websites, their addresses and what you have published.

The second screen, “Build it free. Publish it free.”, explains what is free and what you pay for only when you want it. Press “Start free”.

The third screen, “Bring your assistant”, shows two cards: Claude Code and ChatGPT (Codex). You need only one of them. Choose the one you already pay for.

Each card says where it is:

  • “Not on this computer”: it is not installed yet.
  • “Installed, but not signed in”: it is installed, and you need to sign in.
  • “Ready”: it is ready to work.
  1. Press “Install Claude Code”. A box opens at the bottom of the window with Anthropic’s own installer already typed. “Review the command, then press Enter to run it.” It takes a few minutes the first time. When it says “Claude Code is installed”, the box closes by itself.
  2. Press “Sign in to Claude Code”. The box opens again with the sign-in already typed. “Press Enter. Your browser opens; sign in there and come back.”
  3. Sign in with the Claude account that has your subscription, and approve.
  4. Some sign-ins give you a short code. “If the page shows a code instead of coming back, type it here in this box.” Then press Enter.
  5. When the box says “Signed in to Claude Code”, it closes by itself. The card says “Ready” with your account name.
  1. Press “Install ChatGPT (Codex)”. Tsurito installs it for you with OpenAI’s own installer. The card says “Downloading…”, then “Setting it up on this computer…”. It takes a few minutes the first time. “Cancel the installation” stops it.
  2. Press “Sign in to ChatGPT (Codex)”. A box opens at the bottom of the window with the sign-in already typed. Press Enter, and your browser opens on OpenAI’s page. Sign in with the account that has your ChatGPT subscription, and approve.
  3. When the box says “Signed in to ChatGPT (Codex)”, it closes by itself. The card says “Ready”.

When one assistant is ready, Tsurito asks “How would you like to begin?”. Read Make your first website.

Each Tsurito account on this computer has its own websites and its own sign-in to its assistant. If someone else signs in to Tsurito here with their account, they sign in to their own Claude or ChatGPT too.

Your Claude or ChatGPT subscription is between you and Anthropic or OpenAI. Tsurito never asks for your Claude or ChatGPT password. You always type it on their own page, in your own browser.

Each request you make uses part of your assistant’s allowance, as it does when you use Claude or ChatGPT directly.

Tsurito looks for new versions by itself. When a new version is ready, it says “A new version is ready” and “Restart to update whenever it suits you.” Press “Restart to update” when it suits you. Nothing installs without you.

You can also check in “Settings”, “This application”, under “Updates”, with “Check now”.
