Sign in and your account
Sign in
Section titled “Sign in”Your Tsurito account is free. It keeps your websites, their addresses and what you have published.
“Use the same email each time to find your websites.” Google and Apple sign you in with their email address. If you choose to hide your email from Apple, Apple gives us another address, and that is another account.
- Choose your email, Google or Apple.
- If Tsurito says “Finish signing in in your browser, then come back here.”, finish in your browser.
- You come back to Tsurito, signed in.
If it does not work, Tsurito says “Sign-in did not finish. Try again, or use another way in.”
Your ways in
Section titled “Your ways in”Open “Settings” and, under “Account”, press “Manage your way in”. There you see your email addresses, the Google or Apple accounts joined to yours, and where you are signed in.
Confirm your email address
Section titled “Confirm your email address”Before anything goes on the internet, we ask you to confirm your email address once. This protects everyone from abuse.
- Open “Settings”. Under “Account”, press “Send me a code”. You are also asked when you publish for the first time.
- Open the email we send you.
- Type the code in “Code” and press “Confirm”.
Tsurito says “Thank you, your email address is confirmed.” If the code does not work, press “Send a new code”.
You can make websites on your computer without confirming. You need to confirm only to publish, connect a domain, confirm a contact address or start a subscription.
What your account shows
Section titled “What your account shows”“Plan and usage”, in the bar on the left, shows your account: “Websites with a subscription”, “Free websites”, for example 2 of 3, and “Extras this month”. Under “What your free websites include” it shows:
- “Space of the free websites”;
- “Contact messages a month, each free website”;
- “Versions kept, each free website”.
More than one computer
Section titled “More than one computer”Sign in with the same account on your other computer. Your published websites wait in your account. Press the house button at the top of the bar on the left to open “Your websites”. Under “Your account”, choose “In your account, not on this computer”. Press “Bring to this computer” beside the website, choose the version in “Which version do you want on this computer?”, and press “Bring this version”. On a computer with no websites yet, the first screen shows them under “Bring one from your account”.
A website that was never published exists only on the computer where you made it.
Sign out
Section titled “Sign out”Open “Settings” and, under “Account”, press “Sign out”. Your websites stay on this computer, and they are there again when you sign in with the same account. If your assistant is still working, Tsurito asks first: signing out stops it, what it wrote is kept, and “Carry on” picks it up after you sign in again.
Each account on this computer has its own websites; another account signed in here does not see them. To take this account’s websites off this computer, open “Settings”, choose “Your data” and press “Remove them from this computer”.
